Abbi Benton a graphic designer and visual communications specialist with over 12 years of experience helping organizations bring their ideas to life through thoughtful and effective design. As the lead graphic designer partnering with The Gentles Agency, she supports the agency’s strategic communications work by creating visual materials that clearly and compellingly communicate clients’ messages.

As the lead graphic designer partnering with The Gentles Agency, she supports the agency’s strategic communications work by creating visual materials that clearly and compellingly communicate clients’ messages.
Abbi earned an Associate in Applied Science in Graphic Design from Scottsdale Community College’s Frederick D. Kagy Education award-winning graphic design program. During her time there, she received several honors including three Print Excellence Awards and the 2015 SCC Outstanding Creativity Award. Post-grad, she also served as a Judge in the 2016 SKills USA Regional Advertising and Design Championships.
Abbi began her career working for a marketing company where she designed websites, social media graphics, and print materials for small businesses. In 2017, she launched her own freelance business, Abbi Benton Design, where she partnered with Carla and Karl Gentles and began supporting the agency’s design needs. Over the years, she has collaborated with a wide range of clients across many industries including land planning and engineering, events and branding, product packaging and print design for beauty and skincare brands, and more.
In addition to her work with The Gentles Agency, Abbi currently works for one of the largest insurance brokerages in North America, where she designs employee-facing materials and communications for the company’s many clients. This experience gives her a strong understanding of how design supports clear communication, brand consistency, and professional presentation. A lifelong art enthusiast, she enjoys exploring the many directions design can take and finds the greatest reward in creating work that helps clients visually express who they are and what they stand for.
